Praz Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I've been testing a beta version of ATI Tray Tools. Overclocking, fan control and gpu voltage adjustment all work. Basically anything that can be done on the older ATI cards can now be done on the 1900 series. Profiles work like a charm with the exception of voltage adjustment (at least on my system). Although the voltage setting appears to be saved with the profile when the profile is selected the voltage stays at its current value. I'm sure this fixable though. The question I'm sure everyone has I don't know the answer to yet. 3d downclocking with post 6.3 drivers. I've been testing with Omega 6.3 only. In the next day or so I'll load up official 6.7 drivers and see what happens. Update: 2d/3d voltage switching is working. Right now I know of only one minor problem. red930 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I'm using ATI TOOL .25 Beta 14 and my default clocks/volt are 500/600 1.175v (VGPU) and 2.086 (MVDDC, MVDDQ), and VDDCI @1.486v. Now my overclocking 3d mode is 650/775 (1.45v, 2.089, and 1.486) just for now. I got it working just fine (i know it's really nothing) but i had problems with it before (user error hehe). I want this thing to do 700/1650 at least here soon. The X1950 is going to KILL...

boggy Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 does ATiTray relax mem timings when ocing?
Praz Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Not that I've ever been able to see. I cannot clock the memory any higher with ATI Tray Tools then I do with ATITool.

Pucha64 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I can't overclock with the ATT, it's like disable, o do it with AtiTool and with my x1900gt gives me 628/738 idle: 50°C & full 75°C. I think both do a great job, one with the tweaks and optimizations and the other with the OC.

That's what this beta version I'm testing is all about.
