and i got some AS5 to go with this rig

all in alll itz about 890 for everythang

also i read on newegg that tha 1800xt can run very hot (some people said it run fine) should i look in to aftermarket cooling or just use the stock fan that comes with the video card if anyone has anythang they would like to recommend that would be cool :cool:

Nice list. The lack of motherboard tray is going to be a pain for initial setup and testing though, so see if another case in your price range has it.. you'll appreciate it if you run into any problems.

The RAM he can swap easily for, the CPU and motherboard you suggest is another $400 which is about half again what his previous budget was Dave. Good suggestions, but considering the availability of E6600's (slim everywhere, pre-ordered out the YinYang) and the additional costs, he should be good with his current choices.

 

Of course, you can find Core2 Duo E6300 and E6400's everywhere, they're cheaper than the E6600, and play real nice with the 975X Infinity.

o to wangerin this is just a bang for a buck rig list i would go with tha 3800x2 but im tryin to keep the price kida low cuz the sooner i get a new rig the better and about that ram i might go with the one i picked tha HZ or ocz gold2gb
