Theres another thread in this section that lists PSU's to avoid here http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...8&highlight=psu and under Ultra it says that except the X-Finity, I personally don't have one but outpost has it for $10AR http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4548657?s...CH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

 

I'm guessing people are still not reccomending it for a high end rig but its still a great price for another older rig. But don't go and get one and blame it on me if it causes damage, I just saw this deal lol.

The "Ultra X-Finity 500W Power Supply" is far better than the older X-Connect,

still not up to DFI-Street.com standards, but a killer buy for only $10! :)

 

Not recommended for DFI high-performance mobos!

yeah a decent (not high end i know but decent) psu for 20 bucks its a good deal imo... i just wanted to know if it was as good as my antec smartpower 2.0 500watt psu, cuz the flexforce cables on the xfinity are sick

No, probably not that good, but good enough for most (non-DFI) modest systems.
