Guest Retratserif Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I have a silver one. Its a great case. Kinda tight in you have internal Water Cooling. Though with a little elbow grease and a good imagination you can mod this case to be a wind tunnel in the lower chamber for a radiatior and PSU. You can also mount a 2x120 rad on the back, side ways. There is also options to pull out the top Bays and add a good ammount of stuff there. I will be putting another water tank in the top bays. Great case. Solid. Quite. When you pluck it in the center of any side, there is a solid sound. Its a solid thud sound, not a twang or clank. It is a big heavey. Overall great case. RAINMAKA Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Retratserif we both have very similiar systems. I also have the silver one and I like it alot, Im considering watercooling but not sure how I would want to set it up. Retratserif do you have pictures of your setup, if so I would love to see how you did your setup.
Guest Halvis Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Its a GREAT CASE, I have been following it ever since the spcr review of it, over a year ago. if it traps RFI as well as it traps decibels, and as well as i think it does, it will be MINE, and my Lian Li will be my sons (as i am a HAM radio Operator and my ham radio stuff is on the same bench as my computer stuff)
Guest LithoTech Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Great case, takes a bit of fussing if you want clean cable management, but stock cooling is very robust with 3x 120s in the top chamber, and nearly silent with the right fans/speeds. Have a look here for some great ideas and pics: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53642 Some people don't like it stock, but make it work in the end: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58936 Eeyor came up with some great simple mods, I plan to use one or two next time I delve into mine.
