Djmayhem Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Hey all, I just Set up raid 1 with two 250GB SATAII drives i formatted them both and have setup mirroring in the raid set up for them. These drives are only for my media which i backed up on another drive. I have XP Installed on two 80GB SATAII drives in raid 0. So i was wondering do i need to install xp agen or will my raid setup work in raid 1 and i really dont want to loose all this data becuase my raid setup wasnt working. Please help! wevsspot Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Just use Windows disk management utility to make sure that Windows has recognized the array and has assigned a logical drive letter. If not you may have to manually assign a drive letter. To use the utility; Click 'start' > 'control panel' > 'performance and maintenance' > 'administrative tools' > 'computer management' > Expand the 'storage' key then click on 'disk management' Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
