Olinet Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Now that my computer is ok i would like to make a back-up that i can use like a start cd in case my computer goes crazy again. I though that XP Home had a option for back-up but i can't find it Is there really a program on XP to do that or should i have to buy Norton Ghost ? Please let me know Thx guys
Badams66 Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Im pretty sure XP Home doesn't have a built in back up program, i could be wrong of course. The only thing i know it has, is the System Restore, which really isn't a back-up program....it just takes a "screenshot" of your harddrive
sykocus Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 start>programs>accessoris>system tool>files and settings transfer wizard...(its in xp pro and should be in home too) you can back up both files and settings, then save them to a part of ur hd.
