I am not sure abotu the nForce 6.86 ones, but the Forceware 91.33 Beta are fill with bugs, or so a lot of people have claimed.

Maybe a single card doesn't have any problems... I would install the 91.31 ones just in case the BSOD comes from there. I remember fixing a system with that problem, but forgot what it was the source... search this forum, and maybe do a google search too.

Good luck

When I had such problem, i need to deinstall vid driver and then install driver under Safe mode and the BSOD didn't appear any more. Maybe it will work for you too!

I wouldn't install beta at all, and I have a 7950 :P

91.31 work well... the previous ones worked perfect with my two 6800GT, there is no real advantage when using beta drivers just the usual bugs and problems, so why use them?

Try the 91.31, first uninstall the 91.33 ones like Lowboy said.

Good luck

Well, all drivers nvidia has put on their ftp have always been quite good. Also most serve a purpose, like the 91.37's, which are required to make use of quad-sli. Of course, every system is different and it doesn't hurt to at least try them;)

Hehe, true

But you reach certain age when WHAAAM, BSOD!... and you have to fix stuff and uninstall drivers and reinstall other drivers... that you just don't go there anymore. And no, I am not old... just annoyed enough ;)

I had two gaming rigs come into the shop with the newest Forceware drivers installed.

Both were getting BSOD.

I asked the owners why FFS they were messing around with new crap when they knew I hadn't recommended the new drivers yet?

Their testing cost them each $75.00. LOL
