red930 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I had never heard of this game 'til about a week ago, some reviewer likened it to Max Payne(which I loved)in some respects,so I gave it a spin. The graphics are cheesy, but I loved the sound track as your flying through the air in slo mo w/dual sawed off 12ga and blowing away the bad guys at point blank range. There are some cool driving stunts as well in vintage p/u trucks, sports cars, motorcycles and semi tractors. The storyline takes place down in Mexico where just about anything goes in the border towns If you like the idea of a Grand Theft Auto/ Quentin Tarentino "From Dusk Till Dawn"/Max Payne mix, this might be a game for you. I also found the price was right at 9.99, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A0R88...236962?n=468642 review, http://reviews.cnet.com/Total_Overdose_A_G...-2.html?tag=nav Demo, http://www.gamershell.com/download_10831.shtml
Guest Blooz1 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Sounds nuts! I loove "From Dusk Til Dawn" - it's such a whacky flick! Quenton lookin' through the hole in his hand - then bandagin' it up with duct tape! Anyways, I'll check out the demo first. Thanks, Playah! yfital Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Very mediocer (not sure how to spell the word), in short... just not good : its a GTA imitation, but it aint made that good... it has some nice parts, so if your a huge GTA fan waiting for a sequal, this can hold you for a couple o days... but i was pretty much disappointed...
