RickyG512 Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 just to be sure of the basics:a. got the latest amd cpu drivers installed? b. got the amd cpu dual core optimizer? c. newest nvidia drivers installed, without ide SW n NetWork? d. disable CnQ via bios? e. latest bios? ok ive done everything in that list except dual core optermizer, thanks for telling me that to all of you i have now installed the dual core optermizer and all the games have seem to be working now, ive been playing for about 30 minutites and it would normal mess up after about 10 minutes and it hasnt yet, im gonna play for an hour to be sure (toca race driver 3 minimized) but im just worried that if the dual core optermizer fixed it, why was it working since like feburary for the past 6 months, (when i bought this pc) and its only been not working for the past 3 weeks, how did it work with out the dual core optermizer all those months back, im thinking if it didnt brake would my pc be even faster with the dual core opermizer 2 months back i did a 3D mark 2006 and my cpu score was 1950 and i just done it 2 minutes ago and it is still 1950, and now im thinking would it of been over 2000 if my pc wasnt messing up and then installing the dual core opermizer ? yfital Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 the duel core optimizer only makes the games not to stutter... it doesnt increase FPS or speed... just doesnt make what you said, 1 min of superspped, 1 min of lag... as for why...? hmm, maybe a new driver you installed, maybe you put the new amd drivers and they need the optimiser... dunno... happy it helped though
RickyG512 Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 yes but it never used to stutter before, i ment like 5 seconds of smooth then 1 second of stutter then 5 seconds of smooth then 1 second of stutter
yfital Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 as i said, maybe its something you installed i really dunno... maybe its just the little elves, who knows : whats important is that its fixed
