nvidia ethernet bandwidth cap?

Recommended Posts

i tried doing searches but nothing really yielded what i wanted to know. i don't have any real problems with the nvidia port, it doesn't go on and off and such. But i think there is a cap on how fast the nvidia port will go, at what seems to be nothing more than 1 mb/s. I know there's a way to fix this, because i did so, about a year ago. Alas i decided to upgrade nforce drivers and everythings back to the way it was a year ago, and i forgot what i did.

I know its the nvidia port because i tried using the marvell port and that transferred at around 10 mb/s. Does anyone know what it is? It wouldn't really be easier to switch to the marvell port b/c everything on my router is hardrouted to this ethernet mac address.

thanks for any help.

Clone the MAC address if you want.

I don't know how you tested the bandwidth? You on a LAN? I did a quick test, and it was going about 98Mbps/sec which is about right.
