patsun123 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 i tried doing searches but nothing really yielded what i wanted to know. i don't have any real problems with the nvidia port, it doesn't go on and off and such. But i think there is a cap on how fast the nvidia port will go, at what seems to be nothing more than 1 mb/s. I know there's a way to fix this, because i did so, about a year ago. Alas i decided to upgrade nforce drivers and everythings back to the way it was a year ago, and i forgot what i did. I know its the nvidia port because i tried using the marvell port and that transferred at around 10 mb/s. Does anyone know what it is? It wouldn't really be easier to switch to the marvell port b/c everything on my router is hardrouted to this ethernet mac address. thanks for any help. Guest Kobalt Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Clone the MAC address if you want. I don't know how you tested the bandwidth? You on a LAN? I did a quick test, and it was going about 98Mbps/sec which is about right.
