Zard0z Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 New build does not see two cpus. Every time I load Win XP pro it does os in the uniprocessor mode and not the multiprocessor mode.???!!! Any ideas on this one?? DFI lanparty nf4 ultra-d AMD X2 3800 patriot 1gb maxtor hd I've built systems before and have not run accross this one. old_geekster Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Welcome to the "Street". The first thing that I would try is downloading AMD updates and patches for your X2. These can be found on AMD's website. This can make a big difference. Also, check Everest or one of the other programs of that type to see if it recognizes your processor correctly. lowboy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Update bios in the bios section there tmods cd its nice with all bios and some utilitys. OCZ tonys modded bios work well. This has to be the smartest bunch of people on the internet right here in rivercity....(DFI) Thanks!!
