kobalt Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Not that i didn't have any, i had OCZ mini flowers but they are copper and i've changed my theme to chrome and black so i made myself new ramsinks out of a busted power supply ones. I've cut the long part off, polished and straighten the base, a little buffing and there you are, vid. card heat sinks and they're doing a good job too And didn't cost me a penny. kobalt Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 (edited) VERY interesting that you said "didn't cost a penny".... http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=13244   Trios Well in a way it does cost something but since i salvage everything and he PS was busted, let's say it didn't cost much And i have to say i had to snip a couple of pins close to the solder on the card between the ram chips so they wouldn't touch the HS Edited October 24, 2003 by kobalt

kobalt Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 any improvements in oc? It's only a 9000 pro but from what i can see from RIVA TUNER i'm now sitting at 279/594 from the stock settings 274.5 for both. And if i push the core more i get garbled screen. it's ok though i can play UT2K3 everything to the max and getting good fps.
