p0tter Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 haha, well most of my motivation was the case and its price, I wont feel bad hacking up a $40 case.

bcbooter Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 THERMOCHILL PA 120.2 if you have enough as well as a storm/aquaextreme mp-05 will perform slightly better than the TDX... however my tdx is doing pretty good... specially if you dont have that much to spend also as recommended and i can tell u from experience the stealth gts 240 is great and is dirt cheap...thats why i got it..$$VS PERFORMANCE u cant beat it
Angry_Games Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 if you need a custom cut, I got a guy here who can do it if you provide exactly what you need done (he's an expert metal guy but he's not an expert computer guy so he'll only be able to imagine what you put down as exactly what you want) He can cut pieces too (like I tend to remove the top of my case and just have him cut it instead of taking the entire thing to him...because he just removes the top and cuts it then screws or rivets it back on anyway lol)
michaelzhao Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Thermochill can't be beat. But my personal recommendation is the Coolingwork CoolRad 22-T. There are graphs out there of how it beats the BB BIX Pro... slightly. Its also very cheap, although its not available from DD. Its one of those smaller companies with a really good product. p0tter Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I think I am going to go with the GTS Stealth 240. if you need a custom cut, I got a guy here who can do it if you provide exactly what you need done (he's an expert metal guy but he's not an expert computer guy so he'll only be able to imagine what you put down as exactly what you want) He can cut pieces too (like I tend to remove the top of my case and just have him cut it instead of taking the entire thing to him...because he just removes the top and cuts it then screws or rivets it back on anyway lol) Sounds good, I am going to look around the Chicago area for someone that can cut. If not, could I send you a case door and top panel. I could draw out what I would like cut on the door and the top panel on the backside. Thanks for the info Here is a good templete if you plan on using an AC-Ryan Radgrillz http://www.frozencpu.com/images/products/pdf/flc-106.pdf
SanguineI Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Stealth GTS 240 is great. I got the x-flow version and I'm really enjoying it. The only down side I can possibly see with it is that it has a ton of fins on it and might be difficult to clean. I'm really not looking forward to that
