SkiesOfBordom Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 i am having the same problem. ive got same driver setup (v4.51 audio) -LANPARTY nF4 Ultra-D - XP pro w/SP2 heres what works and doesn't work: -headset mic and reg mic works fine with the rear port -headset mic and reg mic doesnt work with the front port; no sound output from windows (equalizer doesn't move when i tap mic) - front mic port it self WORKS. (recieved feedback when the mic was not in all the way and is hooked up correctly on the karajan module) settings: -alternate mic, mic boost, and digi input are ON -the 2 controls in advanced window from master vol are OFF -mic2 is set as input in the nvmixer CP any ideas to what i am doing wrong?? BTW i tried the above link; didnt help
ebdoradz Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 ive find an alternative solution, i bought an audio spliter for the audio out jack, and plug my headset on the motherboard jack from the back panel, that way sound always gome out from both speaker and headset, so if i want to play games i simply close the speaker, or simply close the headset volume with the volume control on the cord
SkiesOfBordom Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 that would be the easy way, i am trying to fix the problem rather than go around it. a splitter + female2male 1/8plug extender from radioshack would be my easy way.
