Babe Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Hello everybody, I recognized a strange behaviour of my Lanparty NF3 UT. So far I only used a single SATA-HD on port 3, now with a second drive attached to port 4 the FSB in the BIOS is always reduced to a maximum of 216!?! I have tried it with the single use of only one SATA-HD on port 4, as well as with different BIOS-versions. But it is always the same, as soon as I use port 4 the FSB can not be increased higher then 216. Has anybody faced the same problem as well? Seems to be another DFI gimmick. Sorry, but my convindence in this company is vanishing more and more...! Greetings from Cologne, Germany
wevsspot Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Manually set your AGP frequency to 67 or 68. Save, exit and reboot. Sounds like the PCI frequency isn't locking down when you're trying to use SATA port #4.
Critical_Impact Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Try changing bios, mine locked to this exact frequency no matter what I did on a certain bios.
