centy Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 1.3. It still does it with patch 1.4 beta2.
Branjo Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Yeah 1.3 isnt all that great and still does that with me. Wish EA would just fix current issues instead of adding things that the game doesnt need. Like getting cartillery'ed I mean how embarrasing to be killed by a car falling from the sky...Grrrr. the new map in 1.4 is outstanding though, I have to admit. JiveTurkey Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 1.3 has caused more CTDs for me than any other configuration I've played. Reportedly 1.4 fixes this and a # of other lingering issues pretty well. Although I'm sure that won't be the case for 100% of users. I'm eagerly awaiting the GA release of 1.4. Road to Jalalabad looks cool. Branjo Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I played the Jalalalalalalalalalabad map alot, really like it but its so dumb not having at least one server were thats the only map. its the only reason i tried the patch lol. are there any ranked servers still running 1.4 ??? the last time I checked none came up on my list. Stretch Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 The last patch is unstable. Has it ever worked with the 1.3 patch? If not and you downloaded the ABR utility you need to disable that. If you don't know what that is you don't have it. Also check that your harddrive is in the correct mode(not PIO), this can cause instability in BF2.
