osu_todd Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Putting together a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert Socket, and ran into a lot of problems with the memory, was using corsair TWINX2048-3200PRO. Ran into a lot of stability problems that weren't fixed when I put the voltage up to 2.75 V (recommended by corsair). Windows and all drivers installed, but the problems occurred mainly when running windows update where I would constantly get failed download/install or the computer would lock up or shut off on its own. Problem also occurred when installing downloaded programs off the internet. Ran memtest86 (3 complete cycles) on each stick of ram individually and one stick came back with errors. I've now RMA the memory and would like to know of any suggestions for new memory, I'd like 2GB; stability and performance are key. Any help would be great as these last few weeks have been frustrating.
