Lazerus Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 logitech mx518 corded. I dont "think" it was doing it when I first built this rig, but not positive. But its becoming more and more frequent. Ive tried updating the software, turning on "usb mouse" in bios, and changing the usb hubs power setup to never turn off. It seems to be random, and just did it again as I clicked on these forums. Has anyone had any issues like this before and what was the resolution? I put it here in the OC forums due to the fact that I didnt think it did it on first build and I never had any issues on my Intel. edit: just did it again as I clicked off this post. Happening a lot now and cant find any common denominator or software reason...

Trix.rox Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Mine seems to do that randomly too, except I have a G7. This only seemed to start happening when i switched to dual core though.
Lazerus Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 I was thinking of that too last night. I wonder if setting an affinity for the software would help?

IN4M3 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 DAM logitec! i have gone though 2x mx 518 and 1x 510 the same issue mouse two fails. on every single one that i have had this year. now i have readthat there is a 500 click life span and it is looking like the case.
