dirty moogler Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 ok sorry about the repost .....mistyped the location of my sig ..... so here i go again ... im having boot issues with my dfi lp nf4 slii-dr it wont go past the boot screen ....and i cant boot from anything ...hdd, dvd, cd, floppy external usb hdd....... ive had a few issues with my wd hdd ...which corrupted ...i blame windows mostly anyhow basically it happened wen my system rebooted itself and wouldnt pass the boot screen .... and ive found no way to get past this .....reset the bios ....removed things etc .. regards to the comments before my post got taken down (sorry for lack of sig) i havent mem tested in a while .... but last time it was ok .... anyhow ...would this affect my systems ability to boot ?? thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

dirty moogler Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 heres the latest results after all the advice ive been given ... first i did a long cmos clear.... no help ... i ran memtest on my ram ...and they passed ....cursed 4 hr wait for it then i tried booting with 1 hdd ...and 1 stick of ram ...and 1 vid card ....no luck its still stuck on the boot screen ... im totally baffled ...... does any1 have an idea how to fix this ?? cause i dont want to have to buy a new mobo .. it seems the board is working fine ...but it unable to boot from any source ....
