i love google :P "custom system properties logo"

i had forgotten all about the system properties logo. i think its about time to modify that too! very nice question :D

edit: i just modified mine and it worked like a charm. the next thing i did was to try to get the background as close to the color of gray that the system properties tab had. i probably should've googled it but i doubted the info would be easy to find. the closet i've gotten the bg color to the same color is:

Red: 212

Green: 210

Blue: 202

Hue: 33

Sat: 27

Light: 207

HTML code:#D4D2CB

now you can only tell that there is an extremely slight difference. i've tried a few various alteration, but this was the best i could do with the time i alotted myself (i have some studying to do for a quiz and preparation for a couple labs tomorrow, but after tomorrow its Fall Break!! [we get friday off ] :lol: . gotta love the "Fall Break" :P ) i'll post back if i figure out or find anything about the correct color code some other time.

i'm using WinXP, but am using classical settings. haven't tried it with WinXP defaults or anything. i'm asuming that its possible since my next door neighbor has a dell with a support information button on his XP system. i might check it out later. i would think that you would just have to include:

[support Information]

Line1=

Line2=

Line3=

Line4=

in the OEMINFO.ini file

mine looks like this:

[General]

Manufacturer=Custom Built by Trakfast11!

Model=XP 1700+ Overclocked to

[support Information]

Line1=Trakfast11

Line2=A.K.A: Dancing Dubs!

Line3=

Line4=~Jonathan White

Trakfast11, I dont know what image maniuplation tool you're using but if you want to get the correct background color just print screen, past it into your app, then use the "eye dropper tool" to extract the exact color.

easy as pie :)
