Only have 1 dvd Burner.

It works on various other boards. This is the ONLY board, same DVD burner, that it doesn't work on. It boots 1/2 way and then just stops.

It didn't work on the previous ultra infinity as well. Weird. I tired using a HD with just memtest and nada as well. I tried the cd on other pc's as well, it works fine.

Is your DVD burner on the very end of the IDE cable?

Both ends.

I've lost hope. I've tried all that I can but a usb key. I'm not going out to put more $ into something that I would probbaly never use and just for memtest.

a20 enabled and it freezes there.

I have no clue.

I have been looking at memory for the NFU11 AM2 MB and I am seeing two same MB's listed on the memory configurater.

Does anyone know what goes with this?

One ends with the letter /G the original has nothing.

Have you tried a different IDE cable?

I use a 80pin IDE rounded cable going to my DVD Burner.

A seperate rounded IDE cable going to the DVD r drive.

I want to know whether Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX will block the first two DDR slots on UltraII-M2? Somebody mentioned that he had clearance issue, but need somebody else to reconfirm.

Just set up a new system as listed in sig.

Everything appears to be running fine, but upon bootup after verifing DMI pool the system tells me: K8 NPT data change...Update new data to DMI!

Anyone have some input?

Thanks much.

Rich

I haven't tested the VC-RE (im actually all out of them!) on the AM2 board yet

I have tested both the Thermalright HR-05 and HR-05 SLI and they both work great (the SLI version is better if you have a big card like X1900XT and aftermarket cooler on it)
