JiveTurkey Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I've also used WMP11 on one of my VMware XP VMs. No problems to speak of.
snugglealufacus Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 i dont want to resemble a dell tech support guy but i gotta ask some simple questions cause sometimes you forget to run over the basics. are they powered speakers? most newer pc's ive seen have required speakers with external power sources. as per software, check in sound options of control panel. hit the audio tab and make sure the correct audio device is being used. check in services.msc to make sure the "windows audio" service is running...jus a few thoughts.
