I was wondering is Longhorn going to go all out and force IPv6 or is it going to be something in an OS after Longhorn? Just curious if anyone knows.

Microsoft can't force IPv6 w/ Longhorn (or any other OS). If they tried, anyone using Longhorn would be limited to a very small realm of the internet world.

Besides that, it's up to IETF to say use v4 or v6, not MS.

Windows 2000 SP1, XP, and 2003 all support IPv6 as does all versions of Internet Explorer after 4, but does anyone use it?

It's kind of like the busisness migration from NT4 to 2000.... sure 2000 has a lot to offer, but NT works, why bother with the cost to upgrade? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
