Grunt_Style Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 my question is simple...... http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/dri..._FLAG=A&SITE=NA im reading up on the raid stickty but w/1200+ posts its alot to read. anyhow i figure someone will be able to answer this much faster. Im makin a whole new raid partition today(brand new OS as well) on the current system onmy sig, using a pair 500GIG WD CAviar drives(instead of the 400gig hitachis). The idea is to make myself a dual boot system, with 500gigs on one partion and 1TB on the other. thanks.

Grunt_Style Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 thanks. one question so i make sure i got it right.... im going to decompress all the folders and put them as is on the floppy. and by following your raid setup tutorial: http://www.angrygames.com/nf4raid-1.htm thats all it should take. also....my floppy drive wont read disks. it is registering on my windows explorer, but when i put in a disk it wont read it. am i able to put the Raid drivers on a CD/DVD and use that instead? or am i going to have to go buy a new floppy drive. Angry_Games Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 make sure your floppy disks are not the problem floppy drive shouldn't cost more than $8.00 to $12.00 at newegg you can use N-Lite to slipstream the drivers in (use teh search function please, this has been discussed countless times), but you must either do this, or use a floppy to load RAID drivers to an array that is your BOOT array.
