Lanparty Ultra-D - won't detect IDE devices

Recommended Posts

I have a hard drive connected to my primary IDE channel and a DVD-ROM connected to the secondary one. Both have the jumpers set to Master. The IDE channels ARE enabled in BIOS. However, I can't get the motherboard to detect either of the two things and thus I can't install Windows with my new board. If anyone's run into this and knows a possible fix, that'd be awesome.

Check the Master/Slave settings on both.

Make sure your cables are good by testing them on another rig. For that matter, check the drives on another rig to verify that they can be detected.
