dino-new Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 I've got a few questions about prometia systems, as I've reached the end of water cooling and still am hungry ... 1. Is the mach3 the best vapor chill? 2. Could I go higher than 3.68 ghz with my P4 3.2 800 fsb? 3. what temps does it run at? 4. any other info on the subject is great. Thanks for any input, Devin

dino-new Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Yeah, it looks like I'll be getting one of those. My current liquid cooling isn't doing the job under load conditions and I would like to get an extra 1ghz out of my cpu. Plus the fun of overclocking. I'm getting an extra radiator for the time being. I won't be getting the mach 2 for a while yet. Thanks for your guys input, Devin
Gigashadow Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 big deal it's an A/C unit from one of those super small office refrigerators (personnal refrigerator). you could get all those parts for a 1/4 of the price they want for that thing, only thing you would need is that crap cooling block for the processor, but I bet you could come up with something. The suction side of the A/C is colder than hell. basically you could use the water block from a water cooling system and just run freon through it, there's your sub zero system.
