Quick 7950 question

When you have one 7950 GX2 card in your system..........does the system see it as one video card? I'm guessing the system can only see one card unless both PCI-E slots are being used....in that case.....it can detect SLI and Quad? One other thing.......is the length of the card the same as a 7900GTX?

The system actually sees it as 2 cards (2 entries in device manager, sytem info etc.) but treats it as one by splitting the 16 lanes in two. Yes, 2 7950's for sli= quad cores.

I never saw the 7900gtx, but it's the same length as my old 7800gtx. Right at 9".
