EternityEight Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Hey.... i finally got 3dmark03 (boy, that was hard to get) ran it and got around 2500, which from what i have read in this forum is the sort of score i should expect. I was wondering though, when i boot up 3dmark03 ... and you can click on your system information, it reports my cpu as a 2.2ghz duron ..... the clock speed is right, but my cpu is an oced barton 2500. Is there some setting that a need to enable, or has it just be mis-named? Thanks

FanATIc205 Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 turn all the gfx setings the the ati control panel to performance and turn aa and af off that should give you a lil bit higher score
EternityEight Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Hm. Is there some kind of standardised setting -- at which all people do there 3dmark so it can be easily compared, or is the ethos "change anything you can to get a higher score?" FanATIc205 Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 yes turn down everything in you video cards control panel. like with ati cards turn off all aa and af vsync to and set the 2 mipmap and texture preference to performance over quailty
Overclocker16 Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I had everything default and managed a 1k on a 9200 Pro, so I don't know how great a 2500 would be, but I guess that would probably be about right.
