gerv Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 should work man. I know its not a 7950, but my 7900gtx is running on my rdx200. Yeah but the 7950 is essentially sli on one pci-e connector. Any regular nvidia card will work in any mobo with a pci express graphics slot, the 7950 is a special case however and in most cases the mobo requires a bios update for it to work. http://www.nvidia.com/content/geforce_gx2_sbios/us.asp dfi have a massive...1 board certified to work with it. On my RDX200 with the new nVidia driver it is ready as if I can choose SLI multi-GPU ready. The last driver update was for the 7950. IT always tells me when I start up that I do not have my PC set for SLI ready. There is a cf3200 board on that list.

A BIOS update to make it work on the asus board, note the fact that theres no dfi cf3200ddr listed or a bios to enable support of the 7950. From what ive read though the asus update is pretty flaky, hexus.net tried that mobo and bios update with the 7950, card installed ok but anytime they tried to launch a game they got hit with errors. Radical Reg Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Just got the card today and it doesn't work. My comp will boot up but as soon as windows tries to load it reboots. Might be trading my mb for a N4 one that will work.
