Don't know how 'real' this price list is or where it came from, but if possible, I would wait for around the 24th of July and see what happens.

By then I'll have already spent $320 on a Core 2 Duo E6600:)

(the CPUs mentioned are socket AM2 processors)

Good for you. Us poor folk (after getting this stuff running) must rely on deals and crumbs dat da universe deems we are entitled to...:P

I've already purchased a 4800+ AM2

I'm still waiting for a motherboard to put it in...

I'm gonna milk my 4400x2 until the damn cows come home!!!

I just can't afford to upgrade every year.

I'm upgrading to water cooling so I can try and squeeze the titties on the 4400 for whatever she's worth!!!

(how's that for a visual...)

That price drop wasn't scheduled until after the Conroe launch of July 23rd.

Might be After August 1st now.

I'd be more than happy to accept any "hand me downs" from you Uncle David.

Haha. I'd be more than willing to make a trade my RAM for your Venus;)

Actually though, the plan is to keep the s939 system and completely build a new Conroe system complete with a Viewsonic VX2025WM, RAID, SLI... the works.

*Thanks God for giving me a high paying job with no bills*

wow that poor opty, im debating if I want to go conro or get a 165, I dont really want to build a whole new system right now but after seeing thoes benches it left me drooling. If they lower the price on the opyt enough ill probably still go for that.
