KimTjik Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Same here, the prices for single core A64's are dropping to amazing levels. The 4000+ does now cost what a 3200+ did a couple of months ago.
Sorrento Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Well not sure the 4000+ is better overclocker than the 3700+... my old 3700+ could run 2.9 ghz with 1.55 volts 24/7, and 3.02 ghz with 1.6 volts for some bench runs. This is the way old hardware, even "old" being only one year of age, should end up as... the war between Intel and AMD is going to be nasty, and that means the consumers will get a lot of benefits... lets hope the war continues forever, not that one of those two dies in battle.
