abyss119 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Not exactly about the motherboard, but I have not had any luck anywhere else. I have a problem with my sound. In my browsers, Internet Explorer and Firefox, I cannot get any sound to play. I also have problems loading some videos. CNN’s video for example. I have only gotten sound to play from my browsers when QuickTime is used to play the video or sound. I also have Windows Media Player 11. I have had trouble getting it to play anything. Not sure if that’s related or just general Microsoft bugs. Every other program plays sounds like they are supposed to. I tried reinstalling the drivers off the creative cd, but it didn’t change anything. Reinstalled both browsers, before and after reinstalling drivers. I think there must be some setting somewhere on my computer set to mute, but I just can’t find any sound settings that are set low or to mute. Any ideas on what could be causing this odd issue? Thanks for your help.
