liamlw Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The 2GB set has timings of 3-3-2-8, would that be better then 1GB 2-2-2-5?

Guest caffeinejunkie Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The 2GB set has timings of 3-3-2-8, would that be better then 1GB 2-2-2-5? With the on-die memory controller the actual bandwidth means nothing to the overall system performance so youd def be better off going with a 2gb kit especially if you like playing games such as BF2, F.E.A.R, ect.... Also the CNPS9500 is pretty good but im pretty partial to Thermaltakes xp90, xp120, and si-120. So you may want to give them a look too. ReMoose Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Looks good but as above get 2GB of ram. It'll pay off later on. The zalman is a good cooler but search for reviews for different ones like the XP90, XP120, Si120, Big Typhoon, Scythe Ninja, and the zalman line. Most people around here will recommend a zalman, big typhoon, or the XP series.

soundx98 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I'd stay away from RAM with "Value" on it. Not a Corsair fan at all - GSkill, Mushkin, or OCZ FTW
