Well seeing that myself and Caffeine are from Ohio, perhaps we can get together and fix this no sound thing in person.....Im kidding, but, I do suggest what Caffeine had said about using driver cleaner....

Go to run and type services.msc and hit enter.

 

Scroll down to Windows Audio. Right-click it and go to properties, then set startup type to Automatic.

 

Hit OK, then right click on Windows Audio again and hit Start.

Maybe you could try wiping all the drivers w/ DriverCleaner then try re-installing the latest from nvidia again.

I took your advice... restarted my computer... :O WINNT/system32/system is missing :O I had to reformat... still have the same problem.. can't get my sound to work.

Is everything still greyed out in the audio menu?

 

Are you sure the Karajan module is seated properely?

 

What kind of psu are you using? (noticed it wasnt in your sig)

Well my english sucks cuz im a 14 year old kid from Swe.

But i can try anyway :D

Left Click on Computer icon on the Dekstop and choose Manage / Manipulate or something i dunno but in Swedish it's " Hantera " then a window will popup with Computer Manage / Manipulate or something. And there maybe u can figure something out in the Unit Manage / Manipulate thing with Unknown Devices and stuff.
