OsamaBinAthlon+ Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Do you use a bios boot logo?
michaelzhao Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 The BIOS post screen is too black and white and dull. Watching my sexy machine's stats is only interesting for a while. I always enjoy looking at the colorful picture. My old Gigabyte used to be more annoying. There was no option for a picture, so every post screen would show up with "WARNING! PROCESSOR IS OVER CLOCK SPEED!" or some other warning message that is spoilsportish like that. It got old really fast.
the_PC_Chef Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I like to see that everything is going as it should. I'm OCD like that.
greatscott68 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Nah - I like to see that everything fires up okay.
red930 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Nah - I like to see that everything fires up okay. Agreed. Besides, logos are cheesey and stupid - it's like getting something for just the name instead of what it is capable of.
michaelzhao Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Agreed. Besides, logos are cheesey and stupid - it's like getting something for just the name instead of what it is capable of. Ahh... but the logo is representative of what it is capable of...
AsAs1n8eR Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 NO,because I like to see the info instead of an image. And from what I heard it speeds up boot time.
soundx98 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I hate boot bios logos. Wish there were disabled in all the bioses at default.

boo_masters Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Logo? Logo? Dude, my logo flashes for like 1/4 second if I haven't made changes in BIOS. Rather I turn it off or leave it on, I never notice it anyhow  boo
