DFI NF4-SLI DR Expert and Geil ram problems

Hi,

 

I am currently having compatibility issues with ram and my DFI motherboard. The ram is the GE2GB3200BDC Geil Value twin 2x1024mb ram. Timings in bios set to complete automatic at the moment.

 

When only one stick is inserted into the orange slots, the system is completely stable (either stick). However when both are inserted into orange for dual channel mode, the system will freeze up regularly.

 

Has anyone had this problem before, and found a way to get around it? (Im pretty newb at ram timings so don't really know what I am doing in there).

GPU - 7800GTX

Welcome.... You should not be suprised to have problems....Value Ram is not recommended for dfi Motherboards....Read this thread hope it helps...
