cuoficr Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Dear Branden, Yes, we're going to release a IceQ 3 version of X1900GT very soon. Thanks a lot for your support! Best Regards, Marketing Dept.
red930 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 That card comes with 575/1200 clocks stock. It has 36Pixel Shaders, 12 Pixel Output, and 8 Texture units. Instead of 512MB ram, it only has 256MB. How much do you think you can overclock it with an ICEQ 3?
cuoficr Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 if i had to make a speculation? 10-15% or so, but i dont know for sure, would depend on wether or not u can adjust voltages etc like the XT, 650ish/1350-1400ish would be reasonable though i think, ill let u know soon
loc.o Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Yes you can adjust volts on GT with software just like X1800/1900 XT/XTX. Seems like a very nice card.
irjus Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 i klocked mine x1900gt to 682/1475 and i got 10190 in 3dmark05, and i think its no problem to set the klock even higher
watsonte Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 And they can do Crossfire without a master card and dongle, it will be done through software once ATI gets their drivers together. But that could be a rumor, someone posted sometihng about the driver update...
cuoficr Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 it'd be awesome, X1900 CF master cards are hella expensive, talk about saving a few bucks.
Ambian Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 http://www.hisdigital.com/html/product_ov.php?id=242 These cards look damn sweet. I am thinking of picking up one of these as a mid-priced replacement for my 6600GT. Would love to see a comparison between an overclocked IceQ X1900GT and a 7900GT... at default it seems to struggle here and there. 10,000+ in 3dmark05 is sounding pretty good to me. Thraxz Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I think that the 7900GT would win really. I broke 6k and 10k on 06 and 05 respectively without a volt mods. With, I got ~6260 and over 11k on 06/05 respectively.
dab Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 The x1900GT is very attractive.. but I found a x1900XT for 450cdn.. so i ordered that instead. The x1900gt might turn out to be the popular physics card, if ati gets the havok support out.

Any idea what score's u get at stock clocks/volts? a gexcube review shows the X1900GT (with ATI reference cooler) getting 8921 at GPU's stock clocks, and a real world comparison (your 7900GT and my 1900GT soon) would be cool (and hopefully friendly) The x1900GT is very attractive.. but I found a x1900XT for 450cdn.. so i ordered that instead. Any idea what thatd be in USD? 1900GT is only 300USD for the HIS in question
dab Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 It's about $457 American.. http://search.ncix.com/displayproductdetai...acture=SAPPHIRE edit: No, it's less. The page is defaulting to CDN for me, however this retailer ships both sides of the border. Try the link.. It should be about $410 USD.
