wevsspot Posted August 2, 2006 I just wanted to confirm that I am a "foo" as AG suggested. His email address is indeed in his sig. (and you don't even need to retrieve it from your Outlook Contacts) From here on out I should just be referred to as "foo"

General Septem Posted August 2, 2006 And what is a "foo"??? Remember "Me no English" It's slang for "fool", popularized by Mr. T.
Sorrento Posted August 2, 2006 It's slang for "fool", popularized by Mr. T. Ohhh... as in "I pitty the fool who doesn't know what 'foo' is" ???? Mr T is COOL
wevsspot Posted August 3, 2006 Yep, like "BAD" is actually good. "COOL" doesn't mean your temperature but your personality. "BAD butt" doesn't mean you have a smelly rear but that you're really really BAD and COOL etc. Me, I'm just a "foo"
ViperJohn Posted August 3, 2006 BTW If you're the kind of user that just has to have more than two IDE devices in your rig, the nF4 versions of the AM2 boards will still support 4 IDE devices. The nVidia 5 series boards will only have a single IDE controller with two channels. Yep and you will have to use single IDE controller for your optical drive like CdRom's, vdRom's and burners. You are basically forced into using SATA HD's wether you want to or not. Viper

Sorrento Posted August 3, 2006 With the price of new hard drives, both sata and pata nearly the same, I don't see that as a real problem or issue.

General Septem Posted August 3, 2006 You can tape the SATA cable to the back of a ribbon cable.
