Guest laydback Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Sure, but im at loss for a while. I traded my 7800GT for this x1900AIW. Wish I hadn't, this fuzzbucket runs way hotter then my 7800GT used to, and this Zalman GPU waterblock sucks butt. Therfore keeping my water temps higher then before, prime fails after 4 hours with this stupid x1900AIW. So I'll have to get a better GPU waterblock before I can post another OCDB. Any recommendations?
TheFlowerKing Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 You could always keep the gpu block in the loop but take it off the gfx card and put the stock cooler back on the x1900. That way the temps would stay down long enough to run the ocdb qualifiers..
Guest laydback Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 True, but thats alot of work for 50mhz, lol. I need a new block anyways. Gonna check out DangerDen. Plus the block designs itself is the problem, highly restrictive to my overall flow rate.
TheFlowerKing Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Heh, I hear ya. My 148 is running at 2.75GHz now that the TCCD bit the dust and the Typhoon is on the 170. Still.. I may have to whip it back under for a 3.1GHz ocdb shot..
Guest Timmay Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I may have to bring my CPU over to yours for you to have a go at clocking her.
