In situations where the screen is over crowded with tool bars such as in AUTOCAD, space is needed to do your graphics, your actual work. Here you place the second monitor as an extension and all the tool bars, help window, links, etc.Thus you have all the tools needed on one screen and lots of space in the other. This will make yor work easier and and faster. (no need to open-close all kinds of windows)

i have seen games played on 3 monitors i went to a trade show in 2002 in london ATI was showing off its latest adapter they where playing some star wars game on 3 monitors at once also they had some really cool underwater program running with fish swimming round and stuff. wish i knew what it was called should have asked man... so it can be done with progs that support it

that's really good news, I've been playing jedi academy for weeks and I was using my seccond monitor just for monitoring my temperatures. I didn't know I could play on both of them. Ill give it a try tonight.

 

Is it easy to set up? Does it work with different resolutions on each monitor?
