Fast Hot Rod Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 I believe they used white grease on the GPU and the pads... at least that's what I remember when I replaced mine recently. There was a bunch of white goop around my ram, which was not that easy to clean off. :mad: I just pulled the stock BFG cooler from the drawer and sure enough, white grease on the GPU and ram thermal pads. I can send you a picture if you want. EDIT: Hosted pix on my server. Hope this helps. Mark p.s. I replaced my cooler with an Accelero X1 and couldn't be happier.
