Guest Berto Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Hi I plan to buy Kingston HyperX (KHX3200UL/1G) memory but i cant find any info that will tell me on what chips are they. I've look over all popular hardware services and forums and i did not found anything usefull. On this guide I found an information that exactly the same memory in 512MB ver. (KHX3200UL/512) are build based on winbonds BH-5. Do you think that KHX3200UL/1G are also build on BH-5 ? Thanks in advance ps, sorry for my poor language
Guest Retratserif Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I just would not buy Kingston for any PC. Get some OCZ or Gskill for best results. I have never used Gskill personally but I have seen them in some killa rigs working just as good or better than some OCZ. Between the right setting and a little luck either one can out perform the other. I would move this thread to the other thread area. DeeEphEye Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 ..theres nothing wrong with HyperX, you will however get better preformance out of OCZ and G.Skill, I say it depends on what you can find for your budget, if you have one.
