Guest FxXP Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Notepad...hehe.. If you looking for a WYSIWYG application, you can use Dreamweaver. Frontpage is the death of them all.
d3bruts1d Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004 are probably the best WYSIWYG appz (at least IMO).
RVE Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 What I'd recommend depends on your current familiarity with html, and what you intend to do. If you are a complete noob and have no idea what you are doing, FrontPage can get you off to a good start at seeing how html works and can easily make simple webpages. Now if you are already comfortable with html like hand coding it in Notepad and such, them Dreamweaver is the best way to go. Has somewhat of a learning curve to it, but once you get the feel for the program it should come along easily. So for noob who wants to create simple stuff not too overly concerned with eye candy and complexity, FrontPage is what I'd go with. For the best stuff around, there's no better way then Dreamweaver. But you can always start with FrontPage and work your way up to Dreamweaver once you learn the basics of html and get a feel for how it works. Some_Guy_ Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 If you're a college student, you can get what's called "educational pricing" on most programs - sometimes it's up to 75% off. Something to look into.
