d3bruts1d Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Davis was voted out. But final votes for the recall haven't been tallied yet. Arnold is projected to be the winner.
Ghost2520 Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 It just flashed across the news screen though... it said something like recall voted Davis out, Arnold voted new Governor of California... (Not sure on the exact wording)
ccokeman Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 It could be worse they could have the same crooked politician in there again.Just think if Jesse "The Body " Ventura can become Gov of Minnesota why not Arnold in Kaliifornya? O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 That is true, I respect Arnold and maybe he will do some good things for the state
AYoKoNA Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 (edited) Yep i voted yes on recall and yes for arnold. Also yes for prop 53 and 54. I was so excited when i saw the projected winner. Usually they give the projected winner a few hours later till everything comes in, but they said it was such a landslide they presented it at 8:01 a minute after the polls close.LoL. WOHOOO Gumby is gone. (<-doesn't Gumby remind you of Davis. Long skinny body, the hair) Finally the leader of the Hippies is out of Sacramento. RVE Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Funny how those charges come up only a few days before election eh? What a coincidence! But anywho, the Governator will r0xx0r! Thank goodness Bustamante didn't win, and I'm glad Mcclintock didn't pull enough votes from Arnold to cause him to lose. Besides, last info I saw Arnold had 53%, Bustamante had 30%, and Mcclintock had 11% I think. I think Arnold officially takes over in November. Should be interesting how Arnold will fair in the coming future.

howie b Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 My mother always told me...."If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." For that reason, I won't divulge my opinion about "Ahhnold" and this recall as a whole.
