dab Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 You're running mismatched sticks, so I'd say the odds are not in your favour. You might try using some low dividers and see if it'll make it to post. One users success doesn't necessarily guarantee success but perhaps another bios would be more forgiving, if you have no luck with your current version. 21Motorcraft Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 You might try it with 2x1gig dual kit..... These boards are really picky about mem.....It might save ya some heartache and heartburn...It will be faster anyway in 1T... affebaffe Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 You can also try to enabled CPU Spread sectrum and see it this helps. finaly as a last resort you may try "Bank Interleave= DISABLED".
pershoot Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 set your drivestrength up to 8, tREF: 4708, cpc: disable, bank interleave disable (for now), Divider: 200 (stock spd detect will set 166 when there is 4 dimm population) and see if that cures it. you boot, so the mismatched ram is being handled somewhat. im assuming both sticks are same CL SPD? (if they weren't, then you most likely wouldnt be able to boot).
