Guest Joalaielna Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I am trying to record 4 Digital8 tapes onto 1 VHS for someone. I have loaded all the videos from the digital8 onto the Computer and have edited the content...Now I need to put them onto VHS (I wish they would do DVD) They need 10 copies. I have tried hooking up the VHS through the video out on my gfx card but the quality is awful. How can I do this without loosing as much quality as possible? I have a samsung HI8 cam, A sony Digital8 cam, and a JVC MiniDV cam, should I transfer it back to the cam (which one?) Via Firewire then hook that up to the VCR'S? I'm confused and need some advice... Thanks guys. p.s. I need to do this tonight!
red930 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 You should be able to just record from CAM to VHS via video out to video in.
Guest Joalaielna Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I understand that...I was hoping to be able to record from the cpu to the VCR, skip a step. But now I have it set up to record from CPU-Cam (via firewire)-VCR. I'm tired xp
