red930 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Which settings are you using for USB in the bios? Your G15 should work in DOS-MODE as well. So your G7 didn't come with a charging cradle? Is that the way the G7 charges, by USB usage? You sure about this....? Have you tried using differerent USB ports other then the ones you've used with these issues coming up? Jachyra007 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 did you enable the USB keyboard/mouse in the bios? I was having issues too, but that seemed to take care of it
cobra66685 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 g7 does not come with a craddle like the mx700 it comes with 2 bateries that have to be charged with the usb craddle that also hold the transmitter. and yes the usb is enabled for both devices the g15 also iluminates, and it does that when windows is started, then it gets power from the usb port
red930 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Sounds like a USB issue on that RD580 board to me. Anybody else with this particular MOBO having keyboard/mouse USB issues? Which bios are you running and is there any newer bios out yet?
cobra66685 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 running latest bios Revision A Date Code 2006/04/25 File R5UD425.zip
Guest Jman Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 and yes the usb is enabled for both devices I know this might sound odd but I had the same problem, I disabled usb support on both mouse and keyboard in the bios (417) and now it works. go figure..
