red930 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 You need more details in your Sig. PSU, Ram, Bios, Drivers? Did you run "Memtest86" on each stick individually to see if any are bad? Which Bios are you running on that motherboard?
smifffy Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 probaly gonna sound like an butt now but what does a PSU have to do with ram not working?, as for the type of RAM i can't remember, bios is the stock bios that come with the board, as for memtest ill do that Edit found my email the RAM is Corsair XMS3200C2 Platinum 400Mhz 512Mb Module
OverByter Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 When you do get three sticks working it'll hold back your overclocking. Puts a wicked strain on the mem controller.
learners permit Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Its difficult for very experienced overclockers to get the board to run with three modules especially since the processor has such a hard time addressing 6 banks of memory. If you really wanna try it's up to you but IMO it's not worth it. Just use two and see how fast they'll run.
