QUestion on compatible power supply and DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D AT

Do you know if using a 20 to 24 pin adapter on the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D ATX motherboard will work? I saw a couple vague remarks on feedback for this motherboard that you want to make sure your power supply supports 24 pin power natively, which I'm assuming means without an adapter.

I have an Ultra X Connect 500w, and they didnt come with 20+4 power until the Ultra x2 series

I overnighted my parts and didn't even consider the power supply being a 20 pin vs the 24 pin on the new mobo and am wondering if it will not work with an adapter?

OK...looks like I better overnight a PSU too! Hopefully they get it out today too. Maybe this question gets asked alot but I was under a time crunch.

PSU recommendations?

Don't want to spend over $100 if possible. I saw an antec spartpower 500w with dual 12v rails and modular cables for ~$70 at newegg

I just ordered an Antec SmartPower 2.0 500w power supply. It's SLI certified and has the 24 pin connector. I'm overnighting that one here too...hopefully newegg can still get it out today, because my previous order has already shipped and it will suck if I have to wait one more day to try out my new setup!!!

''''it will suck if I have to wait one more day to try out my new setup!!!"" << that particular frenzy does not bode well for you and that board.
