Changing bios settings

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was wondering in the bios what do I look for in order to change the black dos looking thing that comes up after the LP logo. Also in the bios what do I change to get stand by mode back because right now I cant go into stand by. Also for the BUS frequency I believe it is, it says 200MHz what should I put look at my specs plz. I'm thinking about OC'n but I dont know if I should do it with this crappy permedia2 video card or wait till my replacement x300SE comes in.

Thanks,

Mako3

Change the black dos looking thing? All you can do is shut off the splash screen so you can see all of it...not sure what you're wanting to see instead of watching in post...

I don't believe standby mode actually works on theese boards...this may have been fixed but I haven't seen anything about it recently.

As for changing the bus frequency and overclocking...it's in the Genie Bios section but you need to read the overclocking guide first I think. It's linked in my sig, seriously read it all before just changing stuff.
